I’m now accepting voluntary financial contributions through the online platform Buy Me a Coffee. Reader support helps fund research, travel, and site maintenance, allowing me to continue publishing in-depth, publicly available content.
Asking for support doesn’t come naturally to me, but the reality is that producing this work comes with real and growing costs. Website hosting alone exceeds 200 USD per year. Furthermore, the Fukui Reporter program was recently discontinued, making my reporting more expensive.
I’m incredibly grateful for how far this project has come. My original photography has been featured by Japan Today and SoraNews24. My work has also been cited by Comic Book Resources (CBR) and college curriculum. With you, readership has grown to more than 5,000 visitors per month.
